Our Board of Trustees helps to set and review our direction and make sure we’re delivering our objectives. They offer advice and guidance to help ABC Book Club support as many children as possible.
One thing they all have in common is a passion for helping children read more.

Best selling author of children's books
Alex has been reading and writing since he was a teenager. His debut novel ‘Marv and the Mega Robot’ was inspired after Alex struggled to find superheroes in fiction who looked like him. By creating Marv, a superhero whose strengths are kindness and imagination, Alex hopes to have created a character to whom all children can relate. He is also the co-writer of Marcus Rashford’s first fictional book, The The Breakfast Club Adventures: The Beast Beyond the Fence.
Managing Director - James Removals Ltd
James has been involved in the home moving industry all his life and is very proud not only to help with the relocation of children’s books but to support and help steer the charity. With James Removals moving over 2000 homes per year, working with ABC seemed an obvious partnership to make. Moving home is the perfect time to donate unwanted children’s books and James Removals is proud to be able to support the charity in this way.
